In combination with a “rapid water discharge system,” the TACBAG saves space and weight while offering all the advantages of a rapid intervention hose reel.
When stored in the vehicle, the TACBAG system can be filled with water and the required hose line can be pulled out, similar to the procedure used with a rapid intervention line.
To comply with the standard, a “rapid water discharge system” (2 C or D pressure hoses in bays) must still be installed. Recognition as an equivalent substitute must therefore be coordinated with the relevant state testing authority.
Should the TACBAG be required for other purposes as the operation progresses, it is simply removed and remains available for further deployment. After use, the TACBAG is blown out with compressed air and easily rewound using the winding box.
